Keep the police involved. If he comes back and even hints at doing something kooky, get your moneys' worth for your tax dollars. Of course, stay the course on your home defense, but establish a pattern which is visible to the justice system. The more they respond to his actions, the better they'll come to know him and subsequently be able to handle him, and if things come to the worst-case scenario, there will be supporting documentatin for your defense.
Crazy, drugged or whatever, the natural right to self defense takes priority. But then there's those damned lawyers. My apologies to any lawyers I may offend........ NOT!

I got quite a surprise as I was pulling into the driveway from work. Our boy is home! I hope he's okay and I hope he keeps it mellow. But we will keep our guard up just in case.

See? Baked goods FTW!

Seriously, though, i wish you the best of luck with duder, and do agree with the earlier suggestion to keep the local authorities up to date on dude.

We'll be friendly, but will keep a wary distance. We don't need any extra drama in our lives.

I would have to strongly disagree with this approach. I can’t think of many things (BamBam and politics aside) that piss me off more than fruitcake. You take a perfectly fine cake and punch it full of rock hard, gummy, fruit colored crap, and screw the whole thing up. I’m getting pissed off and want to go break something just thinking about it.

And if you did include a note it would probably have to say something like, “Have fun at the dentist, you just ate $%cking fruitcake dumba$%!”

I need to find a baby seal to club…

Good luck CA, I expect your sleeping lite these days. Hopefully he's on his meds and being monitored a bit closer.

Pretty exciting stuff... those whacky neighbors.

The only thing I had was a (nice looking) single woman & her daughter living across the alley. The woman would exercise buck naked in her bedroom with the curtains open... She did this most every night. My garage was in direct alignment to her bedroom window, and she knew it. She could see me working in the garage. She was a divorced RN. Her daughter was a nice looking teenager... No side-show from her. They moved after about 10 months. Damn, I really miss the naked exercise class... and man ho man, she could really do some rather revealing moves!
