Default My First 5K *Video*

Yesterday I, Along with a group of friends, Ran my first 5k Obstacle course. This will certainly not be my last! Had a load of fun and as a team we finished in 1:07. If we would have been pushing hard for a time im sure we could have easily been in the mid 50 minute range. But we were just out to have fun, and we succeeded!

Here is a video I threw together.

Awesome, dude!

I did Tough Mudder earlier this year with some guys from work. It's a 10 mile obstacle course, and the hardest part was the darn running (at least at my age of 36, lol). Second toughest part was jumping into a dumpster full of ice and water (feels like a kick in the nuts, and it's disorienting). After that was the electric shock. I've already signed up for next year, though! These things are addictive!

That looks like a crazy amount of fun. But I think I broke both hips and a shoulder just watching the video.

What was that camera mounted on?

It wasnt that bad. There were 10 yo kids running circles around us, and also women in their upper 50s keeping a good pace too.

Camera was mounted on a hiking pole with a handlebar mount at the end. Put it together for $40 where as a "GoPro" pole is like $65 and way shorter. Mine will get out to 70" if i want it to.

The camera looked very light weight and steady.

Congratulations. It looks like so much fun.
