Not to worry, Norway's politicians are currently drafting legislation to make it illegal for criminals to violate gun free zones and commit murder...

Problem solved

TACK

Unreal that people would allow their government to be this liberal. I hope it never happens here!

21 years is the initial "life sentence". They can then add additional 5 years imprisonment to his sentence, then when that 5 years is up, they can do it again. So he could get out eventually but its not likely.

How does adding 5 yrs to a completed sentence work? Under their law if 21 years being the maximum punishment for any crime what could they keep tacking on 5 years for? ill save them the time any money, it will cost my about 13 cents.

Yep, that works out to less than 3 months per victim. Very enlightened, so much so that their unarmed police had to find an armed response team to come in from Oslo, via car because the helo wasn't ready, then swamp an overloaded boat because more boats weren't available, to an island full of politically connected youths with no armed security of any type, in a country that doesn't allow concealed or open carry of firearms by civilians...
They lost 93 people that day to one man. Who can serve 21 years for it. That type of enlightenment I will pass on; I'll stay grunting in my Arizona cave.

They call it "containment".
