Default My backyard friends

Every evening this little herd comes to mooch corn or eat Chinese pears in my back yard. They could be trained to eat from my hand but I don't want to get them that tame, it would be hazardous to their health to not fear humans.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

That's cool, robo. What, you don't want to shoot them in the face? (ref: some loser's posts in the hunting section that can't be seen anymore)

Wildlife is cool.

Btw, tango, squirrels mate for life.

Well his wife is going to be pissed off at me when I pull the whack down on her hubby.

It is either that or shoot the neighbor that keeps feeding them. I doubt I can get away with that.

Good stuff guys! I had a pet iguana as a kid. I'll have to see if I can get a picture of the turkeys that always show up in our front yard. We had some ducks in the pond beside our place and they had 10 ducklings at one point but the snappers made quick work of them. We've got a bear that comes thru once in a while but I haven't seen him lately. I haven't felt the need to shoot any of them in the face though(read that post, all I can say is WOW).

I agree with skullcrusher, wildlife is cool. I like watching the wildlife all around my house. During hunting season I enjoy watching them walk right into my shooting lanes!

I dont know if I want that much responsibily....
I throughly enjoy the challenge of the hunt and I am slightly addicted to the rush I get everytime I'm lining up the shot or waiting for the perfect moment to present itself.
