1. Nothing from any single media source - especially the news - should be taken as truth. Always do your own research.
2. Your meteorologist friend is uninformed; there IS such a thing as global warming and global cooling and we have plenty of evidence of those things. What we lack is evidence that man influences the global climate one way or the other.
3. Nature does some amazing things and seeing straight ice breaks like that is not surprising. Crystalline structures can do unexpected things. The supposition that water carved those straight lines is plausible, too. __________________
