I say we dip each bullet in pig fat as a coating before sending them out to the sandbox.
And make sure to advertise the process on Al-Jezzera. Every US bullet is a terrorists one way ticket to hell.

I believe this is an urban legend. I remember it being rumored that General "Black Jack" Pershing had executed by firing squad (bullets dipped in pigs blood) a group on Muslims and buried them with the blood and entrails of swine. He allowed one to live and released him to tell the others and the conflict ended shortly there after.
From what I found, it is myth.
However, I think that no matter what is done with the writings on the rifle scopes, Muslim extremists will always believe this conflict was religiously motivated and will forever hold a grudge against the US and it's allies.

I'm not a religious man myself, but if a small biblical reference helps US soldiers' morale, I'm all for it. Those men and women serving are the only ones, in my humble opinion, who've got the right to an opinion about what's written on their weapons.

Buck knives used to put some little passage or quote in with their knives. I wasn't offended, in fact, I admired their convictions.
I believe at some point they quit doing that, and slowly started falling behind in the market.
