My "GO FAST" days were spent in a shiny new '66 GTO, 4 speed 389.
They were THE CAR to have in those days. Kept that until I traded for
a '67 Vette, blue with conv tops...it as a CHICK magnet at VA BEACH, my designated cruising area.
Sounds like there are some GREAT memories for many oldsters (like me)

If you look in the background of the last photo you will see the little Kia Hamster Car I got my wife. She is a very conservative driver, Kia says that the Soul will get 31.5 highway MPG. My wife however, kills that:

i would love to build one more hot rod or muscle car before i die!

of all the new cars being offered, the new Dodge Challengers are the ones that really excite me as as a muscle car.

but, i would be happy with something much older as well.

You realize that you'd have to take a course in computers, sensors and assorted modules?

i have a pretty decent understanding of working on the newer vehicles as well as the older ones. i have even re-flashed a few ECM's in the past with new software!

even working on newer vehicles requires understanding the basics of how an engine operates.
