I have only seen one in person... For sale even, but I was a kid and could only dream about having it. It was in southwest nebraska about 20 years ago. I believe it was less than 15 grand. Probably cheap compared to todays prices

Not a big Ford Fan , but
351 cu. in. 1970-ish.?
Larger intake-exhaust valves.
Small "quench" comb. chamber.!

My buddy Eric‘s AMX. He has three. The gold one has the original paint on it. He always whoops up on my goat at the track. But I have beat his blue one.

a guy i went ot school with had a black one like that. lots of guys made fun of it because it wasn't a Mopar, Ford or Chevrolet. but i always liked it. it was pretty quick as well. they didn't laugh near as hard when it either beat them in the quarter mile or was pretty dang close!

nice looking AMX! i like it!

He also has a red white and blue unrestored sc/rambler with the same 390 4 spd combo complete in a shed. I would like to see him do something with it someday

two more semi-muscle cars i owned in the past. both were somewhat obscure then and one is very rare today.

the first was a 1975 Laguna S-3 based of the Chevelle body. last Chevrolet passenger vehicle even offered with a 454 big block. the Laguna body was used for NASCAR racing and they were still using them into about 1977 or 1978.

mine had the silver and black stripes and rally rims like this one. mine had a 350 SB and TH350 transmission. console, Astro bucket seats, full gauges including a tachometer, P/S, P/B, A/C and other goodies. loved the car, but i traded in on my first new truck in 1988. this one of the few i wish i had back.

second one is a 1977 Pontiac Can Am. based off the Lemans body and platform with many Grand Prix interior parts. only came in Cameo white with either tan, black, red or white interiors. mine had the red interior. only made that one year. production was around 1377 but this is not been confirmed for fact. mine had a Pontiac 400 in it with a TH350 trans. very cool looking car. another one now i wished i had back due to the low surviving numbers of them. i sold mine to fund a big block Monte Carlo project i had going on at the time. the Can Am is defenately worth way more than the Monte Carlo ever was!

Effing sweet! That is the best body style they ever made, and my favorite color!

Anyone ever see the focus terminator? A company called ATI stuffed a supercharged 4.6 cobra drivetrain into that shoebox! I know, its kinda sacrilege, but its kinda got its own cool to it.
