Unless they find a weapon (GUN) in his waistband, backpack or close by the body this guy is going to jail. It took me a few days to look at the vid but like so many who have posted before, if he had double tapped the perp straight away he would be a free man today.

If those two robbers had never committed the armed robbery in the first place that pharmacist would still be working behind that counter living out his life!city should pin a medal on the pharmacist chest at least he had the balls to stand up to some thugs! If everybody reacted the way he did there would be no more armed robberies!

well he shouldn't have come back and shot the guy again, but on the other hand the guy shouldnt have robbed the store. i'm sure he will have a huge problem getting away with self defense as the verdict though

Well lets see, being from Oklahoma and it taking place here, we have gotten a lot of news surrounding it. The pharmacist went on Bill O'rielly on Fox and stated the reason why he came back and shot the kid was because he was conscious and moving, fumbling in his pockets, he still feared the kid had a gun and he thought the kid had shot one of the ladies hiding in the back, because he could here her crying and screaming. He stated that here also for the record. Now, unless the DA has a video angle we have not seen, you cannot tell whether the kid was conscious or not, because all the video the public and news has exposed, you cannot see the kid on the floor, the view is blocked and you can only see the pharmacist shooting at the floor.

IMHO, the pharmacist should not have walked back over and shot the kid five more times. He was either really sincerely still scared and afraid for his life, or he was really pissed the other kid got away and was taking out his frustration on this kid. Either way, it is going to make for a interesting trial and an difficult jury selection. Most everyone here is siding with the pharmacist.

He will get sued by the family... GUARANTEED.

Default Self Defense Insurance

It seems like he was using self-defense as opposed to murder. I was just reading about how gun owners can actually buy self defense insurance to cover their court costs and other fees, especially for situations like these.
