Murder happened about 45 minutes from me

Guy was robbing a eldery homeowner, the woman came home and the robber shot her in the chest and killed her instantly about 45 minutes from me. Robber took her truck, manhunt ensued for a few hours, he was caught literaly 5 minutes from my house.
This is what I saw on the news. The link provided is not updated with the details yet.
We rarely get homicides here, maybe once every couple of years.

I'm glad they caught t worthless pos. Hopefully the great state of W. Va. Will give the troubled lad the care he deserves. And that, right soon.

I live on the outskirt of Memphis, there's a murder 15 minutes from me every other day unfortunately. Whenever I work nights down at a jobsite around the Med Center downtown and I see flashing lights zoom by Its usually safe to assume they're in route to scrape someone off the pavement. Sad,but around here there's rules to robbing convienince stores. Come in wave gun,clerk hands over money,perp leaves... Most of the time that's how it goes. Haven't heard about murders during a robbery in a while on the news,but then again I stopped watching the news in memphis.

I live 10- 15 minutes from Dayton. Regular nightly occurence here it seems.

Murders and armed robbery is very rare here. We have no laws on open or concealed carry. An armed society is a polite society.
