Mountain Lions and Illegal Aliens Use Same Trail
This hidden trail cam caught a variety of travelers on one remote trail near the Arizona/Mexico border.

This video clip shows a dozen or more border intruders going north. One of them is carrying a small child.
See first video

This one shows a mountain lion traveling the same trail - on a different day. Also has an excerpt from a third video showing another user of this same trail (on a different day) - a small whitetail buck that almost looks like a spectator.

Second video

Good trail cam country.

Wrong day. shoot.
Now if only the mountain lion mauled and killed everyone of them illegals while the deer took the cam off of the tree and taped the whole thing. That would be pretty sweet.

I would also like to see that happen. It would probably be viewed as a hate crime and then mountain lions and deer alike would be viewed as bigots. I mean, they freely pass over the border without any punishment why can't the unamericans do it?

Welcome to the desert southwest.

Sounds like we need to relocate more Mt. Lions to the southwest!

Send them wolves and grizzly bears. We've got plenty.

That, and better yet - US soldiers.

I used to hunt west of Nogales AZ until 2 years ago when I would see 100 illegals or drug runners to 1 deer. We had to leave one of our party to guard the camp, it wasn't worth the danger so we changed areas. I would not want to be a boarder agent, the law protects the outlaws so if an agent kills or injures one of them, they stand a better chance of ending up in jail than the outlaws. Thanks to our liberal courts. Now our Gov Janet Napolitano who couldn't protect AZ's boarder is supposed to keep our entire country's boarders safe. Yah.

This is not new, I left Southern California in 1993, Spent a lot of time in the woods as a boyscout leader. We noticed a change the forest rangers were wearing body armour and some carrying weapons. We asked what was going on smugglers using the hiking trails going north was the answer.

They would simply adapt by abandoning the land routes and crossing the border in small boats or rafts. Oddly enough, I have a plan for just that scenario....

Sharks with friggin' lasers.
