Didn't get to meet the guy, he got transferred into my unit as I was processing out.

Damn shame. Im asuming he was a comanding sgt? Or a officer but ive never seen an officer pump a unit up like that lol

He was a Gunnery sergeant (E-7). They're usually a like a company logistics guru, but this one was in charge of a platoon for a little while. I'm not even sure if he went into my company, but as soon as I got over to the MP unit on camp Lejeune I started hearing about this freakin awesome Gunny.
