Mother Nature is Amazing
Last year I fought breast cancer and lost my hair to cemo. My husband shaved my long hair off so I won't have to deal with watching it fall out.I almost tossed my hair into the garbage can. But instead I took my hair and threw it onto the lawn hoping that birds would use it to make their nest. It felt really weird sitting on my front porch and watching the birds fly away with my hair. Right before Memorial weekend I was out taking a walk and came upon this hummingbirds nest on the ground. After looking closely at it I noticed it was made with my hair,my horses hair and Easter grass. It brought tears to my eyes. I feel Mother Nature has given some of my hair back to me in her own special way. I will always keep this gift from her as a reminder of what I've been through and where I'm at now in my life.
I wanted to share this with all of you as a reminder that: It's the simple things in life that are the most important.

I've seen my mom's good friend go though breast cancer and cemo.
It is really very sad.
I am sorry that you were forced to go through it. 
That is beautiful work of art. There are so many things around us that get ignored. We need something like a huge mountain to grab our attention. Truth is, there is just as much beauty in a spider web that has caught the morning dew.

If all of you guys knew CGO as well as I you would be touched deeply by her selfless personality and loving kindness, and she is funny as she is sweet. Seabee Scoty, her husband, is a dedicated American and Viet Nam vet whom I admire greatly and they both have a heart as big as all get out.
I greatly guggest that every one here get to know CGO and stand by for some good natured ribbing.

Congratulations on beating the big C. It's nice that the hair was put to good use.
In the MS summer, hair is HIGHLY over-rated; i've been keeping my short-shaved for years for comfort.
