My most expensive dream is hunting property of my own. I would love to own 300 acres with a cabin, range, etc. One of the biggest problems I have had with hobbies (in my adult life) is finding a place to hunt close to home that is not riddled with other hunters. When I was young, I had more places to hunt than I had available time...once I hit my teen years, those places dwindled down...I guess because I was not that young kid just learning the ropes anymore. It is unfortunate because most of the places I went were owned by family.

My dream collection:

Take people with me...

If you have to ask, you wouldn't understand...

Gotta have an open cockpit...

The most beautiful Cessna built...

Just to kick around in...

Just because...

And a movable condo on the water...

I just need a big hangar on the gulf with a dock out back and I'm set.

Hundreds of acres in an extremely gun friendly state. With my own range setup. And enough weapons and ammo to shoot all day, every day, if I wanted to.

Pretty cliche response, I'm sure. But that pretty much sums it up.

The good news is my wife and I have already decided that when we buy our house, to get at least a couple acres if possible, and to build a range. The ammo thing will prolly never happen, but hey, that's why they're dreams, right?

Hey Bugsmasher, what about some labels please?

That one plane has the propeller on backwards or something?

The first plane is a Piaggio Avanti. I think it's the most beautiful corporate plane flying.

The second is a P-51 Mustang. You go to Oshkosh for the convention, and you'll find pilots who have flown the fastest, most powerful aircraft in the world. Jet jockeys who fly the F-15, F-22, Mig-29, F-16 are all over. Ask any of them what is the one airplane you want to fly, and the overwhelming answer is the P-51.

The third is a Waco YMF. That is actually a brand new aircraft you can order from the factory today.

The fourth is a Cessna 195. They were Cessna's premier aircraft back in the 1950's.

The fifth is a Flight Design CTLS. They are a relatively new class of aircraft called light sports. I flew one a couple years ago and they are fun to fly for short hops.

The sixth is a Grumman Goose. That's the oldest of the aircraft I listed. It's a 1930's design, but there is a company making new ones. Don't know if it would be a Goose, but I would like to have a smaller flying boat.

The boat is a Jeannau 57. I wouldn't necessarily choose the Jeannau, but it just plain looks cool.

To buy the world and send all of the people I don't agree with to another planet to colonize.
