Deep breaths...

High level view, she's supposed to be coming into town next week. I truly expect her to walk in, think she's going to collect a check and go back home. At this point I don't have to deal with it, I'm not the first trustee

Take the high road and ignore it. She is just imprinting her own feelings onto you. Not worth the aggravation.

Interesting side note:...

I was going through some of "my" legal documents (mom and I had some financial dealings, but everything was clear and handled appropriately)

WRT my sister, i just want to lash out at her... but she's trolling with bait. I know that, but it's still hard to ignore the bait.

I assume it is notarized as though Mom had signed it. Am I not correct?

In any case, destroying any documents would be tampering. That would never work in your favor.

Stay strong and do not take the bait regardless of how tempting it is. That will also never work out in your favor. The more she is ignored the more aggressive she will become, making the bait more and more tempting. I have some experience with this in my in-laws. That was an ugly mess. My brother-in-law threatened my life on more than one occasion, once it was unknowingly recorded on my answering machine and the other time it was in the presence of a Marine buddy of mine. My buddy was waiting for me to give the word to have him go to town on the BIL, and when we were driving away he asked why i didn't cut him loose. I just said that the POS wasn't worth getting a friend arrested for. And that is true.

In any event, all that is several years behind us now, I took the high road and we can live with that. The in-laws are still steeping in their venomous cauldron of resentment. The thing is, resentment is an acid that eats away at the vessel it is held in.

You know you did the right thing and you know what the truth is. Live content with that knowledge. As Vikingdad said, she will become more aggressive but as she sees she's not going to get the reaction she is looking for, she'll eventually back off. Stay strong. Come here and scream and rant to get it off your chest. We are here for you.

Happened to me the people who care the most get abused. But you will go to your maker knowing you did the right thing.

This is too funny, received a thinly veiled email threat from my cousin (one of the enablers) demanding I turn over the keys to the house. Court appointed attorney had strongly recommended I change the locks... now everybody wants to get in the house, but NOBODY has produced any LEGAL paper saying they have a right to be there. Sorry charlie, call my attorney

This just keeps getting better and better! Plus this weekend I discovered some criminally fraudulent documents. Oh what a spindly weave they have spun
