Good grief man, what a mess! I am sorry for your loss of your mother and the baggage that came with the situation.

Hang in there & get this settled and done and behind you.

Partduex sorry that you lost your Mother, especially in the manner it went down. Take a breath and like Bro Jim said, mourn the loss of your Mother. It is sad when family members let their personal problems effect loved ones so negatively. With all you have gone thru I wouldn't be suprised you will have more battles after the will is read. Take it one day at a time. Imo you have one of the most analytical minds I've read on this forum. It is a strength of yours, let it work for you after you mourn the loss of your Mother.

Good luck partner, ds

Partdeux, our sincere condolence. She passed into a loftier dimension of energy and love. She will be in good hands. My father just passed a month ago. Took in my mother all alone, as my four sisters who like a choir sung their love for her, until she was left alone. They all bailed out on her. The black sheep of the family (so they always said I was) did the right thing. She lives with me and my wife now. Again, my sincere condolence to you and family.

Thank you

Funeral home director referred to it as compartmentalizing

It was hard making the hospice and DNR decision, but evaluating the brain scans and mom's voice reverberating through my head, no artificial life support, made it much easier. There was a reason mom wanted me making the decision.

Part,
I don't get along well with my sisters much at all. I get emails and messages from them time to time of a simialr nature Best thing to do is ignore it, nothing you can do or say will change their actions

Only thing you can control is you own actions

Don't buy into her guilt projecting on to you. Do what you have to and take deep breaths in between.
