Raised on Miracle Whip also. I still make potato salad the way my Mom used to make it and it wouldn't taste the same without Miracle whip.

Best Food Mayo.

Tried Miracle Whip once somewhere back in my mid 30's, I believe, but didn't like it at all.

Grew up with that everpresent item first in our icebox and then refrigerator... mayonaise. Wouldn't have it substituted with anything else.

I grew up in a house where my mother made her own mayonnaise out of eggs, olive oil and lemon juice. Hellmann's is the only thing on the shelf that even comes close to what she made. After growing up on the real thing, no way in hell would I ever use Miracle Whip or any other imitation product. In a way I feel sorry for those of you who grew up on Miracle Whip without the opportunity to enjoy real home made mayonnaise. I have tasted potato and pasta salads made with Miracle Whip and wouldn’t force my dog to eat that garbage.

I prefer miracle whip but my wife hates it so you can imagine how often I get it.

I agree. I make home made potato salad with Hellman's Real Mayonaise. But I like making deviled eggs with Miracle Whip. Definitely different uses. My hamburgers must have Mayonnaise with ketchup mixed in it. "Fancy Sauce"

Ummm, can't you go to the store and buy yourself a small jar of it and keep it in the fridge for yourself? Maybe she'd even buy you some if you asked real nice.
