All came out well though. It was the slowest turn on the track (35-40 mph) so no major damage really. Broke off the left rear set so I did a little fabrication with the passenger peg and finished the weekend.
It was freaken great though. I haven't done that in a few years. I had a ball. The guy on the yellow bike was the only one in my class that could hang with me and I think I let my ego get the better of me and ran it over my head. I could pull away but he'd catch back up when I'd get behind some slower riders. Just pushed a little too hard to pass him back too soon.
I made a minor adjustment in my body position and did much better on Sunday.
Here's a video from the two friends I went with. The one that wrecked is a SOAR helicopter gunner getting deployed today. It was his first track day and he got up and walked away with no injuries.
Oddly enough, his nick name has been Crash for the 8 years I've known him.
