Military Service
How many out here served?? I was US ARMY, 83-89. Last duty post was with the 249th ECB(H) in Karlsruhe, Germany.

USAF from 89-94. Stationed at Cannon AFB, NM with the 523 Fighter Squadron. I stayed in the Texas ANG at Kelly AFB, TX until 99 with the 149th Fighter Squadron.

USMC '76-'88 Finished last tour with 3rdBN Camp Schawb, Okinawa. A vacation compared to my son who is leaving LeJeune in 2 weeks for Iraq. My avatar is actually his pic, not mine. I vowed to keep it posted until he comes home.

US Army, retired. Son is USMC, retired. Grandson is US Army, current. Foster father- US Army, Air Defense Artillery (retired) On wife's side- FIL, Sgt, Royal Artillery (155 section chief) Wife's grandad, SGT, Infantry, Boer War (my MIL was born in South Africa at the military compound- and SHE was Royal Army Nurse!) Yeah- lot of combat boots sitting at the front door.
