Default Might be joining law enforcement

Is there any advice that any of you can give me because I have really thought this over and I would really like to join the police force in my local town. I know many of you on here are vets and have insight to this topic, so I was wondering if you had any advice , pros , cons , etc
Well thanks

Watch all the Police Acedemy movies. That will help. Then watch Super Troopers.

My best advice get your quota of money tickets early.
"Gun control: The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her panty hose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound." L. Neil Smith

The problem with being stupid is you cannot simply decide to stop doing dumb things...
