Met a Hero Today
I saw a guy about my age at the supermarket that was wearing a camo T shirt that had the POW/MIA flag on one sleeve and the Purple Heart Association on the other.
After I checked out and was heading for the truck, I saw the guy and went over and talked with him a bit. He asked me if I knew what a dustoff was. I do. Turns out that he was a medic on a dustoff chopper. We didn't say much else, I just shook his hand, thanked him and told him God bless you. Then I left.
Those guys clanged when they walked.
All gave some, some gave all.
