Ukrainian, named Palahniuk or so, born on the East Coast. Excellent! One more wanted... and he is alive...

Born Kevin Joseph (Chuck) Connors, April 10, 1921, Brooklyn, New York.

While some are of the opinion that Brooklyn is another country, I think he qualifies as an alien because he was successful as a basketball player, baseball ball player, 'labor negotiator' and actor. But I don't think he's who Mercator has in mind.

Chuck played a heavy in 'The Big Country' (Romeo & Juliet with cowboy hats). I think one of the best horse operas ever. He really made me despise him the first time I saw it, and I knew he was a FICTIONAL character! I think he was an underrated actor.

Close! I did not know Eli Wallach was still living. I was thinking of another good one, like Palance, Bronson, and Brynner, who was born with a long spelling-bee name... You are hot on the trail.............................................

Wallach was also born in B'klyn. Eastwood was born in San Fransisco.
