We must never forget those defenders of our freedom.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other peoples' money.

Those of us who were fortunate enough to serve and return to our loved ones whole... Owe a debt to our fallen brothers and sisters that can never be re paid.

We honor their sacrifice and recognize that, but for the grace of God, there go I.

Honor, Duty, and above all, RESPECT for the Constitution and the oath we ALL swore to defend IT.

THIS we WILL defend.

God bless our fallen hero's.

Memorial Day is one of our Nationís oldest and most significant holidays. On this day, we recall the glory and sacrifice of those who gave their lives for the preservation of our society. We owe an enormous amount of gratitude to these men and women of the military for taking up arms against all enemies of the United States.

Throughout our Nationís history, more than one million Americans have perished as a result of military conflicts. Memorial Day signifies the beginning of the summer season, and we often spend it enjoying ourselves with family and friends, but it is important we remember why we gather on this day. This holiday is a time to celebrate those fathers, brothers, sons, mothers, sisters, and daughters, who gave all of their tomorrows so that we could have our todays.

The residents of Waterloo, NY, started the Memorial Day tradition in 1866 to remember the soldiers of the Civil War. In 2014, may we continue this remembrance, and never forget those who fought for our freedom. We owe all of our veterans, past and present, a debt of gratitude for their sacrifices.

well said Sniper.

we do need to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of our country. we need to never forget that sacrifice that some made and not just this day, but every day.

we need to remember that many who made that ultimate sacrifice made it of their own choice and not because they had to, but were drawn to do an honorable thing for all Americans.

God Bless all the fallen soldiers what answered that call to duty. lest we never forget our freedoms and rights were won by these brave souls.

There is no way to adequately express gratitude for the sacrifices made by so many. We who survive MUST do everything we can to ensure that their sacrifices were not in vain. We MUST protect the Constitution and regain the ground that has been lost in the last two decades.
