Fox is nothing more than slanted and pre-decided by corporate Right Wing propagandists owned by Republicans.[QUOTE]
Don't confuse the news reports with the opinion shows. O'Reilly, Hannity & Colmes, etc. are opinion shows and don't try to hide the fact. Each hour there is a news break, in which straight news is reported. During the day there is mostly straight news reporting. Any program that is not news reporting is easily identified as such.
If FOX were 100% right-wing, then how does one explain Geraldo, Gretta and Alan Colmes? Fox personalities all, and all dedicated liberals.
O'Reilly claims to be non-partisan, but you'd have to decide that for yourself. My opinion of him is that he leans right about 75% of the time. He sometimes seems to be open minded, since the gun confiscation following Hurricane Katrina, he has changed his stand on gun control.
Sean Hannity, Brit Hume, Neil Cavuto and John Gibson don't try to hide the fact they are conservative. At the same time, the personalities on CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, C-Span, BBC, NPR, etc., all deny they are liberal.
Can anyone point out to me where FOX has made up a story and reported it as fact? I can name several such cases among the other media.
You may have figured out by now that I am a fan of FOX News. I also get much of my news and information from the Internet and Talk Radio. If it were not for those outlets, the only news we would get would be leftist propaganda.
I don't care what anyone say about The Fox News Channel, I'll take their programming and reporting hands down over any other network. The ratings PROVE that I'm not the only one who feels this way. Every single one of the other networks has nothing but liberal biased, left wing spin reporting. A bad story is going to happen to the best of news shows, but Fox has had the most honest reporting of the Iraq war from day 1. CNN, MSNBC, and the 3 major networks have done nothing but fill the airwaves with their anti war, left wing crap. Bush has made a lot of mistakes, and Fox has in fact criticized him for it. But they don't constantly Bush bash like the others. The only network that has broadcast the new House approval ratings is Fox, (13%). The others don't utter a word. Anti Democratic don't 'ya know. Bill T.
What about Fox reporting that George Bush won Florida and thus was President when he had not.
Not to split rabbits or anything, but let's be careful on the history. Many networks called Florida for Gore before the polls closed, including NBC, CBS, CNN and yes, even Fox. It was not until 2:16am the following morning that Fox called Florida for Bush and at 2:20am, all the other networks did, too.
(It bears mentioning that calling the state for a candidate before the polls close and for a state that spans time zones is a really bad thing to do. How many people in the Florida panhandle didn't even bother to go vote after hearing the state results had already been called?)

I'm not really interested in debating the merits of Fox without bringing up the outrageous bias that is evident at CNN, CBS, NPR and PBS. Other networks may be less biased, but they still lean left quite a bit. Fox isn't perfect, but it sucks a lot less than the alternative mainstream media.
