These ugly critters are ground up with fillers and served on a bun. Did you ever really look at that "Alaskan Cod" fillett? You really believe that is a cut of whole fish??
I got my info from a program on the cod industry here in Alaska, one of the processor companies was telling about the specific requirements to be met for specific buyers, Mc D's was one of those mentioned. I spent from '87-'94 working in the fish processing industry and this is an area I follow a lot ( I was NEVER on a crabber to harvest, as I had kids that made me promise to not do THAT.) .
IIRC it is Peter Pan, or Trident that is the provider for the fish fillets.

This. It's like a pressed gristle (sp) and solid fat chunk patty, with some "meat" scraps attached. Those "meat" chunks probably feel like Martha Stewart walking into a naacp event...

The barbecue sauce and raw onions makes me want to like it. But like Primer said, it's just gristle. I can't handle the icky texture. Twice I tried them. Took a bit and threw the rest away.

Longhair,

If you think that is good you also should try the Burger King Rib Sandwich. I like both but the Burger King Rib is GOOD also! Maybe we could have some fun and start a survey! I would certainly go do another review and comparison.

artbrownsr, I see in your post you never actually saw the McD process. Everyone list potential customers it is called marketing. I would think you would know the difference between fish product and whole fish? As an expert in fish are you saying these are real fish fillets

It looks like little tracks for equipment.

Eating at McDonalds is like going to church. Your attendance must be based on faith alone.
