I've always love guns, knives swords fighting etc. i dont know why. I'm also really good at building things, love hard work, good at turning some scrap parts into something neat.

If I had joined, Navy would have been my choice. Mostly because they have big diesel engines.

Well it sounds like you should become a navy Seabee. They fight and they build things. But there advancement kind of sucks.

I just remembered something.

We had a reserve unit return to VT from the sandbox a year or so ago. They were a self-contained helicopter mechanic unit. At first when they went over the Army didn’t expect much from them because they weren’t ‘regular Army’. As it turned out they were the best rotary wing aviation unit the Army had. They worked in shifts, 24/7, and the only time they stopped was when there were no birds in the shop. The turnaround was so fast that pilots often had their bird ready by the time they finished a shower & had a meal.

I’m sure any of those mechanics, with their socket sets & torque wrenches, were responsible for way more bad guys killed and more good guys saved, than any individual front line boot.

All this by way of making clear there are more ways to fight than with a gun.

LOL! Define 'everything'. Is there some annual biathlon/iron man competition/super secret squirrel shooting contest they all have every year to see who is the best at everything?

LMAO! Apples and tires! So one unit, in one branch, trains to contact local fighters and organize a guerrilla resistance, and another unit, in another branch, trains to rescue hostages....
How is one better than another?

...other than boy fantasies at the local airsoft game? 'I read Marcinko's book, I just saw Act of Valor, I get to play a Navy SEAL, 'cause they're the bestest!'
