Or again

Total money spent to help a Marine veteran across the border = $0

In the game of winners and losers regarding govt support, this guy has gotten the short end of the stick, and that's not right.

You still don't get it. He was following the rules. He wasn't smuggling the weapon in. He declared it to Mexican customs. He was arrested for attempting to do the RIGHT thing as explained by US Customs.

Having first hand knowledge of Mexican corruption, I would bet there isn't more to the story.

Ok some political movement on this today:

Rep. Hunter calls for Americans to boycott Mexico over jailed Marine

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/12/20/lawmakers-press-administration-on-jailed-marine-point-finger-at-us-border/

This call for a boycott is weak and probably without effect, but at least its getting attention to the issue.

The Muslum Major slaughtered 13 American soldiers inside an American Military Base. The thoughtful Prez. did not comment go their to console the families. He said, he did not want to cause a Back Lash over religion? The Major 2 years later has not been sentenced. He is being protected because he refuses to shave his beard.
The thoughtful Prez. never mentioned gun control or violence. Border Patrol officier murdered nothing from the thoughtful Prez. The thoughtful Prez. how ever got into a nonfederal case very fast. The very thoughtful father and Prez. seems to be covering up some thing. AGAIN!

I'm thinking maybe he's not the only American in Mexico, in or out of jail. You're willing to sacrifice them?
