Oh God, forgot the Heather Thomas poster, +1.

The porn may well have to serve as an instruction manual, since "men" in 3000 A.D. will likely have forgotten what their "special purpose" is for.

Can we come to a consensus on the top 3 Manly movies to save, and maybe the most Manly beer?

I highly doubt it... LOL

Most manly beer, in my opinion, would have to be Guiness, just based on reputation and tradition. But, I can't stand the stuff, it's just my choice.

Top three manly movies? Impossible. You would have to narrow it down to scenes from dozens of movies about what being a man is all about, then edit them together with a little lead into each scene.

Example: If you get this one, your Man Card gets +1

"Sir, Shurgart and Gorden AGAIN request permission to be inserted into the crash location"

Two minutes later you see two bad ass dudes making their way through a battle zone, on what is basically a suicide mission, to save one guy. When they get there, the guy asks:

"Where's the rescue party?"

The reply

"We're it".

BAD ASS SCENE!

Blackhawk Down. Manly.

MY favorite has to be from Stallone's Cobra, lousy movie, but the greatest line ever, when the bad guy threatens to blow up the grocery store, and Stallone says,"I don't shop here."

gentlemen i believe that i mentioned Blackhawk Down. that should offset the comment about the captain morgan's. if not, i request leniency.
another most manly movie would be the Deer Hunter. also the movie Heat.

You did, and I was referencing it. Leniency granted.

Maybe the coffee shop stare down dialogue, obviously the street battle, along with the Val Kilmer walk away at the end - but I would have to vote no on the whole movie. Every character had a tragic, tragic arc that essentially would tell our future "menfolk" that it's okay to be a complete "f" up as long as you were focused on one thing....

Since we're talking about Kilmer, can somebody please explain "I'm your huckleberry"?

LOL - That's actually a funny story, and you wouldn't believe how many people have made up reasons behind their answers.

Huckleberry used to be a term that was a unit of measure, way back when, that meant just a "tad" bit better than the rest.

So, when Doc Holiday was telling Johnnie Ringo "I'm your huckleberry" he was in fact insulting him and telling he was just a bit better than him... Goading him on so to speak....

John Wayne in the Green Berets was the first suggestion.

WD-40! Brilliant. How did we get this far without remembering WD-40?!?!

This is going to be one well equipped time capsule... LOL

Great work guys - keep it up!
