Default man tasered while trying to save his house from fire

The nieghbors house was on fire so the man is hosing down his property. For his efforts the local police taze him.

thats definately ann instance where an officer should be personally liable for damage and assault. its not the taxpayers fault the officers are stupid

Taser happy? It's really not even the officers place to tell the man he can't try to fight his own fire, let alone tase him for disagreeing.

Charge him for obstruction? What kind of a-hole tells a man to let his house burn? Talk about power hungry. That cop needs to get a job at Burger King for a while. He certainly shouldn't have a badge.

Obstriction? WTF? In Texas there is a charge of disobeyiong a lawful order, heavy emphasis on LAWFUL!

Agreed! If my stuff was on fire and anyone threatened to tase me, i think i would soak them with the hose so they could share in the experience. Unfortunately they didn't have the balls to warn him.

There are times when it seems we would be better off without the government's help, though it is really more like chemotherapy with that which saves your life taking most everything else from you.
