I know guys that are alcoholics but they only drink 3 beers a day. They have to have 3 beers when they get home from work or they are all mean and nasty.

So your telling me a guy that is sober the whole day but 2 hours at night can't protect himself or his family.

Dude I think you need to stop while you ahead.

What if I don't like your views? Who gave you the power to set my restrictions?

How do you know someone is addicted unless you test them?

I was depressed for about 8 months a while ago. I didn't seek treatment for it and I got over it. I have a daughter that is one some depression meds. So I can't have any firearms because YOU say she is unstable.

Are not the same basic "restrictions" on the BATF form 4473?

Opinions of who can and cannot own a firearm can be made, but the current laws need to be adhered to. Some states (and cities) think that a straight, non-alcoholic, mentally fit, non-drug user, clean criminal record individual should not have a firearm.

Now I understand the "bare arms" vs "bear arms"

I do agree not everyone will agree on how each law should run and a do understand that. Now am I saying my version of how it should be ran "perfect" no. Not every one will agree with it and some will.

Non carnivores in shirts that expose their arms should be restricted.

He's no vegetarian, so he's cool. I can therefore forgive the bare arms.

I am not a Democrat or Republican but nowhere there did it say from whom it came from (which group). Or did I miss it? Is it possible to come from a conservative vegetarian??? Or just a plain moron maybe (Republican, Democrat, or independent)?

Generalizing just to fit your own belief is bad. Too bad since I respect your opinion so much when it comes to guns.
Conservatives don't come in vegetarian

Thanks SC. I'm not absolutely vegetarian, though; i had some sushi the other night. I have some sushi about once per month & occaisionally have some oysters. It's just a taste thing to me. {fried pork chop shiver} I have hunted, fished, gutted, and cooked enough meat to know where it comes from, even the grocery "meat".

Loud voices or do occaisional whispers count?

OK, gonna go nuke some veggie dogs for lunch. The new grocery in town actually ordered some when i pointed out that no place in town stocked them.

P.S. I would like to thank all of the fine (and not-so-fine) people who hunted deer this year for keeping them outta my car's grill.
