I've seen mountain lions in arkansas personally. Especially in the southern part.

Dude is a large person & would instinctively attack if scared, i know. I don't know much about big cats myself, but my pet cats make me very leary of a larger version roaming free. I don't know if there is a population of cougars or panthers or mountain lions in Arkansas.
I suppose it could happen. I know house cats don't like being hit on the nose, a slight tap will send them running. I guess if he punched it on the nose it might have the same effect. Cat my have just been curious and a hit to the nose was enough to end it.
I'm like you, I've seen what house cats are capable of and I wouldn't want to mess with them. You can forget about one thats 10 times bigger!

I don't think that cat was starving. I think it was sick really sick. But now you can expect to see some kind of chainsaw regulation coming down from the yahoo bunny hugger.

Don't they make some kind of blade shroud for those things?

And can I get one in black?

I hear ya'. My wife would probably taunt the cat and piss it off even more than it already was.

You're talking about the evil "assault chainsaw" and you better hurry they're going to ban them soon.

And an 18" bar?!?!? That clearly needs to be resticted to no more then 12 inches!

Yeah, those things that go up. Those are bad!! They also have heatseeking blades on some of them. Anyone can just walk into a hardware store and get one!!
