Making Bullets - Photos from Time Magazine

Photos: Making Bullets - Photo Essays - TIME

Just some photos of bullets being made. I always thought the process was more automated than this at factories.

I love the media's misuse of the word "bullet". The bullets were already made. They were making ammunition. That looked like a small scale operation. The in-line machines making handgun ammo are likely Camdex machines. Finicky and expensive. Dillons look like they are set up for rifles. Standing at a press all day loading .223 does not look like a lot of fun to me.

I agree that is a small operation. I also agree that would be a very boring job. Day in and day out running a press would get old FAST!

That must be boring sitting there making ammo by hand; no wonder theres a shortage.
