Default Looking for seats from a C-130

And this is not a joke.

I have a project that involves obtaining seats for a C-130 simulator (and harnesses)

Any Suggestions?

Cockpit seats or troop seats (don't know what kind of simulator you are working on). Finding A/C seats can be very hard. I'm interested in your project, sounds very interesting, and right up my alley.

*Could post a wanted ad here for free (after registration), to get someone's attention. Good site.

* Coastal Aircraft Parts (not surplus they are flight ready parts$$$) but they do sell them

*GovLiquidation.com but you would have to catch someone selling seats, which is a crap shoot.

Any links?
I'm even looking at movie props.
FAA certification does not apply for my application, but has to have same controls and harnesses.

call/email these guys, ask for Terry (if they still work there?). They sell parts and actually sell a lot to movie houses as props. If they don't have it, they will send u in the right direction much better than I could I'm sure.

IPECO is also doing some research.

Thanks for the input!

That's a good way to go about it as well. Wondering why you need c-130 seats specifically (just asking), I've flown many aircraft over the years and untold # of stressful hours in the sims, all the seats I've ever came across in the last decade or more were generally the same type seat with 5 point Y-type harness. I posted your request over on another aviation forum I belong to, waiting for some feedback as of yet. Happy hunting...
