I brought this thread to Notdku's attention. I'm not sure he can do anything but I feel he should know this is going on. He'll probably respond tomorrow morning.

I wonder if there is a way to contact local people where he is to find out WTF is going on.

Man, I feel for you. He had over $300 from me for a holster and belt. I did FINALLY get it, but that after I found a way to get a hold him. I'll see if I can dig up that info and PM it to you. Give me a few days as I am really busy at work right now.

If you feel you are the victim of theft, please contact your local law enforcement.

I cannot provide information for Dave, but I can ban him. That being said if you do not have off site contact for him, banning him means you will not get in touch with him. I will leave his account active as you all attempt to gain restitution.

I was quite sorry to read about what was going on in Dave's life. I think we've all been through rough patches, and I for one am grateful for the patience you all showed when he was having issues. It says a lot about you as people.

Aside from that my hands are tied.

I don't want to get law enforcement involved. I still hope once he gets his s($t together he will send back or refund me what is mine. At this point it is probably like getting blood from a stone and any kind of legal action may make things worse for him and his family. Just send me an email Dave. Thanks. JPB

Wow! I can't believe this is still ongoing. I'm local to Dave and have met him once in the past. I provided him with my contact info, but he didn't share his with me. If there is anything I can do to help, just PM me.

You might try looking him up on Facebook. Dave or possibly David Hopper.
Not telling you what to do, but my experience with local law enforcement is that if they see you've waited 6 months to report a theft, they're not going to work too hard at resolving the situation. You also run the risk of getting told this is a "civil matter" which is their way of absolving themselves. Not picking on LEOs, my old man is a retired detective with 31 years service, but I know exactly how the system around here operates.
