Local LGS, overnite camping out
Today, decided to head to Sportsman's Warehouse, they had 17 AR's come in and assortment of ammo. Anyway, it is getting like Black Friday after Thanksgiving Day.
They had alot of folks camping out on Wednesday night after the store closed to pickup an AR. |
This crap is getting old. I'm tired of not being able to find ammo. :(

The industry is driving old timers off by droves. Before long gun control won't be necessary because no one will be interested anymore. People that had 250 competitors at IDPA matches are now having less than 10 and in their range shops they want $68 for 100 federal FMJ. Before the election IDPA was dying in this area. A weekend long match that brought people from several states had 64 competitors. Sporting clays are doing ok but it's more of a social thing. They make as much off BBQ chicken as the range. Last weekend I went to a sporting clay course. About 50 people shot a round of sporting clay. They sold around 200 plates of chicken when we left.

I can't even find any 22lr ammo that's sad
|
My guess is that a lot of people that don't own firearms are buying up all the ammo they can thinking "I'll sell it for a ton of money and get rich", kinda like the people that buy up the collectible of the month to sell that don't actually collect the item.

I have plenty of ammo. I am still just replenishing what I have shot. With prices sky rocketing I might start shooting my pellet rifle a lot more often.

Honestly, I haven't had ay trouble at all getting ammo for 5.56 or 458SOCOM :o
Must suck for the rest of you :p |
Here is the local news chanel reporting on this:
The wall of weapons is not from Sportsman's Warehouse. Not sure the location they pulled that off of. http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S2907624.shtml?cat=0 |
