Guys! This guy is Danish. The Danes published the Muhammad cartoons. Rioting ensued, and Theo Van Gogh was murdered and almost be headed. What did the Danes do?... They REPRINTED the cartoon, stoically enduring even more riots and terror attacks.
While they may not share our freedom of firearm ownership, their brass balls clank in defense if the freedoms they believe in!
And what did our freedom loving American press do? They COWERED, and censored south parks mocking if the event, and condemned the Danes for what they did.
So raise a glass to the Danes! Some freedom loving, brass ball clanking SOBs.
You won't find freedom like that from the Brits!

very well spoken
that south park episode was completely crazy, and explains the idiotic ideas behind censorship quite well. the fact that they could show jesus jerking off, and budha snorting coke, while representing Muhammad as a censor bar, is so absurd that it's amusing
nothing is more important than being able to think and speak whatever you want, and i would probably die before giving away that right, so in that case, we aren't different

So now you know how we as Americans feel about our rights.
While you might not have a birthright to firearms, we do. In a sense, its not the firearm itself we cherish, it's a right. And no one wants to lose a right they were born with.

that's an interesting perspective. And on top of that, America an politics are very complicated due to it's large geographical size, and diverse population. this is a valuable step on the way of understanding your values, and i do thank you

In a nutshell. If you ever see a political map of the US, you see red and blue. The blue represents Democrats and liberals. They're more in line with Europe. They view government as the solution, to poverty, healthcare, guns, crime, etc...
The red is the conservatives, they want very little government, mainly they just want to be left alone.
But here there are liberals and democrats, and conservatives, and every group under the sun, we all come together because we love firearms.
Of course it gets much more complex than that, and we Americans argue about it constantly, but such is democracy. That's us in a nutshell.

yep, we have recently had a period of US politics in society studies, and boy, there is a lot to learn. it's very interesting though, but very, very complex, like you said yourself

Understanding all of ^^THIS^^ and recognizing that currently 47% of Americans pay ZERO income tax with millions living off of social services due to the entitlement mentality our liberal politicians have created AND recognizing that engaging in illicit activities like the sale of drugs, illegal guns, and prostitution MEANS that US demand for Mexican drugs and the violence that comes with them WILL NEVER GO AWAY.
If we fixed this, our debt would vanish, almost overnight.
