What about the mother of all 'straight to video' cinema "flops" of all time...

"Ace Ventura, Pet Detective"???

Did diddly squat at the box office but blew up on video...thank God!!

Then there's "Clerks"...Kevin Smith used himself up on that one, (Mallrats=barf, Chasing Amy=gag, Jay and Silent Bob's adventure=lay off the heroin...) still makes me laugh though...
