Default Liner lock knives

Why does everyone complain that liner lock/frame lock knives "put your fingers in harms way". You've got to hold a lock back knife pretty special not to have your fingers in the way.

I've never really heard anything of that sort,my knives have always been liner or frame lock. It's what I prefer bc of the ease of one handed closing,I've probably opened and closed liner locks tens of thousands of times in my life that the only times I've ever been cut where from me playing or fiddling with a knife when I was bored (a No-No anyways).

I've not heard this complaint and I have never had an issue with it.

I've had this Zero Tolerance 302 for a couple of years and have no complaints with it's lock design.

Although I don't personally like liner lock knives, I haven't
heard that they were dangerous.

Of all the systems out there my favorite is Axis lock.

Geez... I grew up with folding knives that didn't lock. You learned pretty quick to cut so the force is exerted away from your fingers....

If you hurt yourself with any locking knife, you sure as hell shouldn't be handling guns.
