It all started with the cardboard tube disposables about 15 years ago, they even thinned the wire! Im pretty sure its a Communist conspiracy to eliminate them and replace them with cheap plastic junky ones. They are useless, they dont even hold clothes well and you cant build a good science project with them either!

Cir8, you keep watching McGuyver, you could do allot worse with your time! A better reference might be http://dsc.discovery.com/tv-shows/alaska-the-last-frontier . The Kichlers are modern day frontier busters and constantly do much more than most of us could imagine with very little to work with. No Hardware stores within driving distance, they dont throw anything out because nearly everything has a second life (or third, fourth and fifth)!

I dont really like the snow all that much or I would probably be on my way to Alaska in a heartbeat. I live in NY for 3 out of the 4 seasons, winter is not my friend, I schlog through it but despise it worse every year!

A tin of Altoids and a comb. Know what the woods is full of? Cougars.

That's what all those cougar advisories are about right?

LOL, that's funny. But really, didn't I hear there are not many women in Alaska? Don't a lot of fatties & uglies go there because there are soooo many lonely men?
