Default LEO's reunite gun owner with stolen guns.

We always see threads about "jack-booted" cops and their hi-jinks. Well, here is an example of them helping out a gun owner and his lost firearms.

Two of the guns have been recovered and have been returned to the victim, who now lives in Ocean Springs. Investigators say a .50-caliber Traditions muzzleloader is still missing.

I sent the sheriff a thank you email, and let him know the story of his department had been shared on an international firearms forum.
What we have here is... failure- to communicate.

Jackson County has always been a good ole boy's sheriffs dept. They have no need to harass the local gentry. JCSD actually believes in protecting and serving the local population. They went way above the call of duty after Katrina. I-10 provides them with enough arrests to justify any funding they receive.
