I'm a lefty and actually shoot pistol better right handed but my draw is slow which is why I carry on my left side. On the other hand I can barely hold a rifle right handed let alone shoot one.

I'm a lefty. I shoot well right handed also. Practice.

Eye dominance may be the culprit there.

My step dad is a lefty, but shoots right handed because he's never in his life owned a lefty gun.

But when we target shoot, we put him inside the barn. At least then he has a 50/50 chance of actually hitting something. kidding, he's not quite that bad. Still, if I could pick the man who has to shoot at me or my family.....

I shoot both left and right handed, rifle and handgun. But if your left handed and want to shoot right handed you need to turn your brain around.

I started out shooting a pistol left handed and a rifle right handed. I'm left eye dominant so left handed pistol worked well. I've since changed to shooting pistols right handed but I still use my left eye for the sight picture. Makes for an interesting stance (modified Weaver leaning left).

I'm right handed and can't do much with the left, but a few years ago I started shooting left handed. I'm getting decent at it, hitting the target in the black out to about 10 ft. and poping bottles and cans about 50% of the time. It's still really hard to things like load mags and reload lefty though.
