It's a 9mm, why would the recoil hurt? It just climbs all over the place.
The MP5s are a much better choice and some of them aren't much bigger than the 93R. They're much more controllable and accurate than the Berettas and Glocks. I've had a chance to burn a few mags through a 93R and several MP5 models, but never a Glock 18.

The little guys aren't that cool. It the biggies like the M60, M240, Mod Deuce and Mk 19 that are fun. The real fun comes when you get into demo though. Nothing sprouts a chub like pulling the ignitor on a Banglore from a few feet away or spending an hour preping a 4 or 5 thousand pound shot.
The most fun that I've ever had was dealing with land mines with AHDs and clearing/setting booby traps though. That's time well spent. My primary instructor for that was a combat experienced sapper who went on to be the breaching team leader for the SECFOR at Los Alamos National Laboratories.
If you're willing to sign the papers, Uncle Sam is more than happy to share his toys.

It's the Air Force, if you can drink coffee, you can make it through the basic training with asthma.

Based on your grammar, spelling, and punctuation, I'd say the Army would be a better choice for you.

"plus dont you have to be like really smart for the af". (YGBSM)
Not a bit. You just have to prove a super-human ability to really not do much for......like 3 months at a time, and then fill out a travel claim. Then there's the whole "golf" thing.
