Are you serious? Do I care? NO! I don't think some people have enough to worry about. I don't have enough time to worry about if eating a hotdog a couple times a year is going to hurt me. Let's see, today:
up at 630, work til 5, squeeze in a 2 mile run, grab a quick dinner, mow/weed eat til dark. Sorry, couldn't find time to worry about hotdogs.

Here in NC most people get their dog with mustard, ketchup, slaw, chili and onions. Think that would throw their study off a little bit?

side note, I do not eat my dogs this way, i think its nasty.

I eat bratwurst instead of hot dogs-much better taste. Guess that means I'll live blissfully aware until they come up with something against bratwurst. Orangello- you don't eat meat?
