Default Late night postings

I work midnight shift so even when I'm not working, I'm very often up at night doing the things most people do on their day off. Cleaning house, laundry, cooking, etc. But there seems to be a lot of people posting here between midnight and 0700. I'm just curious, why are you all up and posting on FTF in the middle of the night?

I work four 10 hour nights a week with three days off each week. I like my hours, I like my job and I like my co-workers. Life is grand!! Night time is my day time, too.

Why does your day start at 0230. Your post sounds like you aren't getting ready for work. Are you just a 'night owl"? I always have been. I worked midnight shift before I got married and had kids. Then I worked days all the while the kids were growing up. I've finally been able to go back on nights where I belong. Some of us are just 'hardwired' to be awake at night. *shrugs*

Well, sitting here at the controls in the missle silo at 0400, it is usually pretty quiet. My partner is working on his Command & General Staff College correspondence course, and we usually get our practice alerts earlier in the night. Good way to pass the evening unless we come to TEOTWAWKI. In the real sense of the expression.

I like the night shift, havent slept well at night for over 3 years now so this works out well, also when I have to go to walmart for somthing, its nice not waiting in line for a long time. Another thing being up at night while the world is quiet is kinda peacefull

I'm usually up well before the butt crack of dawn and the early AM is my favorite time of day...

I have weird shifts and problems with my back (the doc wants to fuse more disks together). Whenever I'm awake, I check and post.
