I was robbed last summer. They took everything of any value, EXCEPT my guns (although they looked for my pistol, I could tell, the box was out and open, they left the long guns).

They even took my fingernail clippers and hair clippers (may they cut their scrotums while giving themselves a trim...). They took my grandfather's ring, something extremely valuable he had custom made during the only period my family had any money, the mid seventies. My gaming system and games.

They cooked and ate all my bacon, eggs, biscuits, and drank my damn beer for breakfast. The police suspect they did this while waiting for them (the police) to leave the two houses they robbed right before mine, right next door.

I see there are some newer members who don't know about my getting robbed last summer, and some veteran members apparently don't remember.

It's still a sore subject. The bastards.

I remember you posting about that. Who the hell steals fingernail hand hair trimmers?
Them eating your food and drinking your beer was just adding insult to injury. Did they ever catch them?

I certainly don't fault the OP at all. The smart thing was not going outside and waiting to see what happened. At least then he gets them funneled going through the door, and maybe a three for one shot.

Hey Trip, did they clean up after breakfast? Those sound like the coolest burglars ever.

I was surprised at how i reacted. I immediately grabbed the gun as soon as the caller said they were unidentified. We don't get much visitors so I am always alert when I see a car in the driveway. I am proud of my reaction, did not freeze up. I know it sounds dramatic but I live next to a bad area (the area I am in is good for the most part but some of the thugs pour over from their hood).

Did you let them know how close they came to getting lead poisoning?
