David Draiman's (lead signer for Disturbed) has hatred of war, lives lost, and the price paid. Though he is an advocate for peace, he's surely not anti-military. "Many soldiers have told me they listen to Disturbed while marching into conflict. If our music can bring fearlessness and strength to soldiers, I can not be more proud," says Draiman.

I would say being anti government is nothing to shun. And based on this interview, I would say Disturbed is definitely behind our troops....

David Draiman called this song "an anthem for soldiers." Indeed, "Indestructible" starts off with the sounds of air-raid sirens and buzzing helicopters, capturing the aural environment of the battlefield. The lyrics never explicitly condone or condemn war, instead offering a rallying cry for those trapped in the crossfire.

Indestructible Lyrics

Another mission,
The powers have called me away.
Another time,
To carry the colors again.
My motivation,
An oath I've sworn to defend.
To win the honor,
Of coming back home again.
No explanation,
Will matter after we begin.
Another dark destroyer that's buried within,
My true vocation.
And now my unfortunate friend,
You will discover,
A war you're unable to win.

I'll have you know,
That I've become...

Indestructible.
Determination that is incorruptible.
From the other side.
A terror to behold.
Annihilation will be unavoidable.
Every broken enemy will know,
That their opponent had to be invincible.
Take a last look around while you're alive,
I'm an indestructible master of war.

Another reason.
Another cause for me to fight.
Another fuse uncovered,
Now, for me to light.
My dedication,
To all that I've sworn to protect.
I carry out my orders,
Without a regret.
A declaration,
Embedded deep under my skin.
A permanent reminder,
Of how it began.
No hesitation,
When I am commanded to strike.
You need to know,
That you're living the fight of your life.

I do not have links, and Disturbed may have changed their weak tune. All I know is that several persons I know personally have been to Disturbed concerts where there have been rants about how G.W. Bush is nothing but a war monger and how the soldiers who serve him are killing civilians. I do know that a couple of years ago just after Disturbed was getting major notice, several exoduses happened when said leader of Disturbed went on long rants about how the US was using its minions to kill civilians and spread the philosophy of it's leader, GWB. I almost bought their first CD, but did not at the advice of my R&R friends. If they have changed their stance, so be it, but I have not heard that from very reliable sources.

Ill tell you why I posted this:

I was listening to the song. Then I decided to read the lyrics. It got me thinking about our country. How there is people saying "oh everythings is ok don't worry, but there is a double digit unemployement. How there is people who is telling you" we are gonna do this against your will and there is nothing u gonna do about it". How they are little by little robbing us, our liberties, freedoms, money, health, family values, faith, strenght etc. How are we been silenced and casted away. We are letting them and we are not doing anything about it. This song reminds me of our power as human to change the things that we don't like.

This wasn't about Disturbed or Genesis. Was about how this lyrics reminds me of how powerful we are and that united we can defeat anything we want. You guys went of course big time.

Mid 80's Germany, some of my buddies went to a concert with an American flag. It was an open air event. They waved the flag, and Phil said "We know you're Americans, you don't have to be a**holes."

This was a relatively dangerous time for Americans abroad, you were encouraged not to look too American.

So Phil can **** my **** while I take a **** all day long.

Everyone knows Peter Gabriel had all the talent there.

Hacks like Collins HAVE to be overtly anti-American, because their target market is Greek cab drivers.
