wow, thanks to everyone for the kind words, i didn't expect to this to receive this many replies so fast.

on a side note, if anyone knows someone who thinks post traumatic stress disorder is some sort of new made up disorder, tell them it's very real & many men much older than the rest of us have suffered with it for a long long time. those who suffer from it need all the love & help we can give, no matter when they served.

for all the veteran's out there on this message board, i thank you for your service too & hope you have many happy years in peace ahead of you.

Sorry for your loss. My Dad was in WWII and Korea. They are truly a breed apart.
