I do the no HFC Heinz. When I hit the drive thru, I'll turn down their ketchup packets if I'm bring it home. That way my double bacon cheeseburger and fries is just that much healthier

Yes ketchup. Ever asked for it in the city??? The reactions I get are priceless. I had a street vender chase me down the street once. but mostly get denied service. The bigger places will have some but at billy goats don't even bother... They will laugh at you. Best place to eat before a hawks game.

You can use it to clean copper.I use it on burgers and fries and hot dogs.I am like a old dump bear and have no brand preference.Back in the seventies I was in the army stationed in germany. There is a chain of sausage places like say subways are here called Zoom Zooms. They had a large selection of sausages and you pick one and they stuck it in a slicer and handed it to you in a long paper like we get hot dogs from a vendor in here only way bigger. They placed large plastic bottles a foot and a half tall of ketchup and other condements on it to use.I grabbed one of these gonzo bottles of Ketchup and squirted it on my sausage and noticed right off it had a more brown color to it than what we use. One bite told me it didnt taste like ours either. They put a lot of Mollases in it giving it a sickening sweet flavor I didnt like. So I had to go to germany to find it but there is ketchup this old dump bear dont like.
Now beer is another topic we could discuss and germany taught me a lot about that subject also.

I think ketchup is frowned upon in The City on hot dogs only. A true Chicago Dog has NO KETCHUP. Otherwise I think ketchup is very acceptable in Chicago.

Heinz Ketchup is my choice. My grocery cart and/or home will never have another brand. I will use whatever a restaurant serves, but if the choice is mine....it's Heinz Ketchup.
