My first was a Remington 1100 20 gauge. 12 year old son uses it now and then my two year old son will use it when it is his turn. One of them will get it eventually.

I didn't keep my first gun. I figure they are like anything else, a tool that can be traded or sold at will.

Some have sentimental value, and if your first does, you should keep it.

I do regret selling my first gun. Not because of sentiment, but just because out was a good gun, and shotguns are some of the most versatile guns out there.

I still have my first rifle it was a Winchester 22 . I have never sold or traded one of my guns. I have work to hard to buy them so I don't think I could part with any of them they are part of my family.

I bought my first gun last year. I have no plans to sell it...not only is it my go to gun for home defense and my first gun, but it is beautiful. (I have a soft spot for stainless steel 1911s.)

I still have my first gun. A Marlin Model 60 I bought from a co-worker at the gas station I worked at in high school. It still shoots nice and gets taken out to warm it up once in awhile. Stll have the first shotgun (Mossberg 12 ga) and handgun (Beretta .380) too. The Mossberg and Beretta are not really sentimental or anything, I just still have them. Heck, now that I think of it I still have all of the guns I ever owned. I don't think I have ever gotten rid of a single gun in my life. Hmm. How about that? Yeah. Now that I think about it that is absolutely true.

Mine was a marlin 880ss. I kinda kicked the idea of selling it but I dont think I can. My lil sis loves shooting it and I think she would kick me in the shins if I did. I'm a pack rat too so I dont think it's gona happen.

I have kept every firearm I have ever purchased. I bought my first one in the late '80s.
