Default Just went to my local gun shop

I went to two of our gun shops today to buy a lower for my next AR build and while I was there I was looking for another HK USP 45 for the wife. They said they were on back order from the factory. I thought that was funny. Until I went to the other store and they said the same thing but it's was just not HK the owner told me it was alot of other manufacturesthat are going through the same thing. I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

Just got back from the local gun shop and...WOW...The one wall was filled with AR guns...I'm guessing AR's are the thing now...They must of had thirty or more guns strapped to the wall...Every kind of build you could think of...I'm only interested in hand-guns but they had alot of AR's to choose from, and people where all-around checking them out like they where the last ones on the planet......

Maybe they are waiting the election to see if we can run Obama out. If not, their business might be threatened, and they are reluctant to invest.

All distributors run out of almost everything for about 2-3 months after shot show in Vegas. Come about March you should see an increase in everyone's inventory.

Some people believe that could be the case.

The "Black Rifle" is the new hot item to have on the shelf. The hand guns are selling at record pace in the LGS here and getting a shipment in is a challenge so I hear. With all of the new pistols coming out today one can only expect for production to slow somewhat. Plus this helps drive up the price or at least maintain the market price that is already there.

Then you have the fear factor of the elections and what might be.
